OSCE assessment mission in the parliamentary elections of 2011

A team of election observation experts of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) undertook a needs assessment mission in Finland in January 2011. The experts assessed the preparations for the elections as they met with representatives of authorities, political parties, media and organisations (the Needs Assessment Mission Report in English).

Based on the needs assessment, OSCE decided to conduct an election assessment mission in Finland for the parliamentary elections held 17 April 2011. The mission in question was not a comprehensive election observation mission, but a more limited expert assessment mission.

OSCE published a report on the assessment mission on 21 July 2011. The official report in English. The unofficial translations of the report into Finnish and Swedish.
